Her artworks have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Paris, her work was featured in the group exhibition “Emo Gym” at Tai Kwun Contemporary in 2022. Cheng lives and works in Hong Kong.
Cheng is inspired by the artificial nature and sense of alienation experienced in Hong Kong. In her artworks, she aims to evoke poetic emotions within the city and explore the connection between our senses and the surrounding urban environment in our daily lives. She examines the relationship between humans, nature, and the urban landscape.
During her two-year period of studying for an MFA in Fine Arts, she took a step back and focused on exploring how sensory experiences in our urban surroundings contribute to our understanding of the environment, thus creating a sense of alienation within the city. She looks into the relationship between painting and perceiving, which has led her to explore video installation to ambient the perceiving under the influence of art practice.

Melody Qingmei Li is an artist and writer based in Hong Kong. She constantly edits and translates threads of memories and the present, some of which grow into forms of writing while others are woven into various mediums including drawings, paintings, moving images, objects, and sculptures. She is interested in liminal spaces between the natural and the artificial, the body and the mind, and the individual and the system.

Marian Ang is a contemporary painter born in London and based in Hong Kong.
A graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, Marian is an art historian by training and a former consultant for UNESCO in the field of cultural heritage protection. Exploring material culture in contemporary life is the starting point for Marian’s practice. The idea of an ordinary object holding extraordinary meaning first piqued her curiosity as a child, when she encountered the piles of random objects that her father had meticulously hoarded. Combining the symbolism of traditional Western still life and interior genre painting with precious cultural objects and banal everyday paraphernalia, Marian brings together an eclectic range of stories about the world and our lived experiences today. Her most recent exhibitions include "A Room of One's Own" at Touch Gallery (2023), named after the 1929 essay by the English writer Virginia Woolf and inspired by the personal spaces that great women artists carved out for themselves, and “Lucky You” (2024) which examines the notion of “Chineseness” through classical imperial Chinese porcelain wares and everyday diasporic motifs that grew out of feng shui beliefs, superstitions, and intergenerational wishes for luck and fortune.
atelierYVF is a textile art collective formed by Yasmina Viale-Fraine, a fashion designer and award-winning embroidery artist and Alexandre Viale-Berthélier, a scientist and digital creator. The juxtaposition of contrasting elements is at the heart of their creative inspiration. City and nature, East-meets-West, delicateness in passion, modernised traditions, boldness in scarcity, sustainable disruption are recurrent themes explored by the duo.
Their work has been exhibited at Art Basel Hong Kong, Omni Gallery London, Harrogate Knitting & Stitching Show (UK), and HART Haus (HK). atelierYVF’s couture collections have been walking the runways at Hong Kong Fashion Week, every year since 2022.

BH is a slashie mutant who is interested in observing various living forms and patterns, contextualising and recasting them with new suggested meanings through contemporary paintings. It is also a monologue process to identify his own form, understand the relationship between his own formation and other forms of relationships, as well as to navigate the impact and value of his existence to society. He believes the best way to characterize himself would be the egg itself.

Kelly Kwok is a painter who graduated from the School of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2024. Her creative inspiration stems from keenly observing her surroundings and the people within them. Exploring the often-overlooked details of everyday life, Kwok captures and shares her unique perspective and emotions through her blurred and understated paintings.
In the upcoming six months at HART Haus, Kelly intends to further develop her graduation project, the "Sight" series, and continue focusing on still life painting. Through oil paint, she aims to capture and document moments of daily life, much like writing a diary. During this time, she will also explore and refine her ideal artistic style, striving to express deeper emotions in her work.
Kwok Wah San is a media and installation artist with a passion for telling fragmentary and continuous stories through photography. In his past works, Kwok has always tried to take the strange phenomena of society and its feelings as the starting point, using readymade objects and human behaviors to intervene with them. The medium is not a limitation for Kwok, but rather a source of inspiration and a point of departure for his thinking. Most of his creative ideas come from patterns of behaviors in society and groups, reflecting on the strange connections between the readymade and human behaviors.
In the future, Kwok intends to start from his daily experience and continue to explore extensively how to discover alternative possibilities for the readymade objects around him.

Her works often involve stacking and polishing mineral pigments to blur the sense of time, using intuition and sketches to express the aura of objects.
During her residency at Hart Haus, Elsa hopes to embrace new transformations in her creative practice, experiment, and collaborate, uncovering further possibilities in artistic language.
